OC Human Relations selected to participate in LA Clippers Foundation Charity Challenge

We’re excited to announce that OC Human Relations has been chosen by the LA Clippers Foundation to compete in the LA Clippers Foundation Charity Challenge!
The LA Clippers Foundation Charity Challenge, in partnership with Kia, is dedicated to raising money and awareness for non-profits in the Greater Los Angeles/Orange County area. It will runs from Friday, November 16 through Friday, December 14 at 3pm and during that time $150,000 and a Kia automobile will be given away in the form of three grand prizes and weekly Bonus Challenges.

OC Human Relations on Sanctuary Conversation, Board of Supervisors Meeting

At the meeting of the Orange County Board of Supervisors held on March 27, 2018, numerous residents of the county came to address the Board, demonstrating a high level of civic engagement and a wide spectrum of perspectives.
Unfortunately, the meeting dissolved into hostility, name-calling and scapegoating. Such vitriol plainly impedes the ability of people – like-minded or not – to work together. This weakens our ability to address issues like homelessness and immigrant integration, and communicates the wrong message to our children.
