Dear Whittier Police Department,
The OC Human Relations Commission adjourned its meeting on Thursday, March 9, 2017, at 8:59 PM with a moment of silence to honor the memory of fallen Officer Keith Boyer who lost his life in the act of responding to a car crash. We mourn with the Los Angeles community the loss of such a precious life and a long time dedicate law enforcement hero.
As citizens, we understand the risk that law enforcement officers face on a daily basis. The loss of an officer’s life in the line of duty is always heartbreaking and when we lose a dedicated, kind, and caring soul as we have with Officer Boyer, it is devastating.
The OC Human Relations Commission extends its deepest sympathies to Officer Boyer’s family, friends, and entire law enforcement community.
