2023 Upcoming Events
On October 3rd, we will host a luncheon featuring Dr. Arline Geronimus and an important conversation about “weathering” and how racism and poverty are making us sick. She will be joined by a panel of local leaders to discuss the impact of racism and poverty in Orange County and how to build a healthier community.
“Weathering” makes the case that marginalized people suffer nearly constant stress from living with poverty and discrimination, which damages their bodies at the cellular level and leads to increasingly serious health problems over time.
Tuesday October 3, 11am – 1:30pm at The Pacific Club, Newport Beach
