This year’s Walk In My Shoes sold out within 48 hours of registration opening and was attended by 550+ youth and teachers from more than 2 dozen schools from across Orange County.

The event took place on November 15 at California State University, Fullerton. It featured a keynote presentation by Jonah Mowry, a recipient of an OC Human Relations Community Leader award in 2013; 30 workshops; a speech by the 2013 YouthSpeak winner, Vanessa Le and closed with entertainment provided by the Magnolia High School Break Dance Crew.

Thanks to all youth volunteers, adult supporters and OC Human Relations staff who helped make the event a success.
