Staff of OC Human Relations BRIDGES Safe and Respectful Schools Program recently collaborated with the students and staff of Newport Harbor High School to organize a “Speed Friendship” event. The purpose of the event was to give students the opportunity to meet others on their campus and to break down the barriers between members of various groups. Over 100 students participated during the extended lunch break, and, as you can see from the photos, the students were having a great time!
In addition, the school has on display the entries in a Human Relations Art and Writing Contest.
