The 2023 Youth Leadership Institute is now accepting applicants for the summer of 2023. Learn all about human relations and social justice topics including youth-led movements, restorative practices, and communication skills. Applications are due 06/02/2023. Make sure to apply ASAP; space is limited.
Our annual Youth Leadership Institute (YLI) brings together diverse students from high schools across Orange County to participate in activities, dialogues and skill building exercises about human relations and social justice issues. Students learn the skills to organize youth, take a stand against hate and injustice and create schools and communities that are safe and equitable for ALL.
Application Deadline: June 2, 2023; Orientation June 22 (6-7pm); Institute runs June 26 – June 29 (9am – 4pm)

Youth Leadership Institute grads have the opportunity to join the Human Relations Ambassadors’ Program (HRAP) a youth leadership group.
As someone who wants to go into the social justice and public policy work I am really excited to see what I can do for my community with the skills I gained from this week.
