Please join us on February 23, from 5 – 8pm for a virtual (via Zoom) screening of the documentary, Healing From Hate.

Healing from Hate is a film that examines the root causes of hate group activity through the bold work of those battling intolerance on the front lines. The film follows former hate-group members in their work to de-radicalize white nationalists, and heal communities torn apart by racism. Healing From Hate is at once a stunning document of racism and white-male grievance in America, and a powerful portrait of a group of people working together to de-radicalize hate groups and heal communities torn apart by white male insecurity, resentment, and rage.

Following the screening of the film, there will be a panel discussion featuring a former hate group member and experts in the field of anti-hate work. The panelists will discuss ways to combat hate and cultivate a culture of compassion as well providing information on local OC support services and ways community members can get involved in hate prevention work.
